Matt Lambert
(Creative Directors & Photographer)

Creative Director, Photographer & Stage Artist

Matt Lambert is a multidisciplinary film director, creative director, photographer, and stage artist whose poetic visual language has spent over fifteen years shaping the worlds of fashion, contemporary art, and global commercial campaigns. Rooted in deep human emotion and elevated aesthetics, his work excels at creating powerful, high-identity visual universes for luxury and commercial brands.

As a Creative Director and image-maker, Lambert shapes the complete identity of brands and artists alike. His portfolio highlights a decade-long creative partnership with cultural icon Michèle Lamy across film, print, and live performance. He worked directly alongside Stefano Pilati to direct the launch, runway live-streams, and print and capsule campaigns for Random Identities. His collaborative direction extends to long-term musical partner Mykki Blanco, as well as distinct campaigns for Nike, Calvin Klein, Comme des Garçons Parfum, GmbH, and Gucci. Most recently, Lambert served as both Director and Creative Director for Zalando’s major campaign, « The Spaces That Made Us, » moving away from commercial clichés in favor of direct, authentic storytelling.

On stage, Lambert translates this physical and cinematic intensity into live performance and curation. He is the creator and curator of SISSY SMUT, an ongoing performance series at Berlin’s prestigious Volksbühne theater, and frequently collaborates on avant-garde stage projects.

Whether editing independent art zines, mounting live stage productions, or helming major commercial films, Lambert’s vision consistently pairs sophisticated execution with a powerful, unmistakable signature.

Matt Lambert is represented by 2001 for Creative Direction & Photography.
